you speak

Question:

What is the biggest thing that you have had to sacrifice for your own better good?

note: I am not asking about sacrificing for others, but for your own better good.

note: "better good" sounds redundant and even meaningless. here's a great opportunity to employ some intuition and non-rational thought....

note: for those who can't get past the "better good" entanglement, try this:

What have you had to give up for the sake of your own well-being?

A marriage. Or two.

I second the above comment! Marriage and along with it: financial security, two kids, my house, the antiques, and all my possesions that didn't fit into my car. She even got my tallit.

hmm. i will have to think about this one. maybe i have sacrificed very little. or the "sacrifices" have not seemed so significant so they don't count, like not having a t.v., not eating meat, etc. trivial sacrifices i suppose.

well stu here it is. i think any time someone gives up a little comfort. to take a second to stop and give acknowledgement to something greater than man. i think thats what sacrificing is. and so with as what you call self sarifice. or something like that. i hope everybody had a great passover. peace love and good stuff. lukas ja sherzer
